Our ELA and Math Readiness Program begins Monday, September 11, at 8 am. Meet Mrs. Simpson at the outdoor tables by the cafe to check in and get your am session class. If you are joining us for the pm session, meet Mrs. Simpson at the outdoors tables by the cafe at dismissal afterschool to get your snack and pm session class. We will dismiss to the car rider area at 5 pm for pick up. There is no bus transportation for the Monday-Thursday afternoon sessions. It is not too late to enroll. Scan the attached QR Code and sign up. See you there!

At this time the LWCS will operate on a regular schedule on Tuesday, August 29th. No afterschool activity on Tuesday, August 29th. We will be closed/out of school on Wednesday, August 30th. We will evaluate our facilities on Wednesday afternoon, and make a call for school on Thursday, August 31st.

Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Tdap) immunization is required for all students entering 7th grade. It must be documented on an updated Florida Certification of Immunization (DH 680 form) and submitted to the school. Incoming 7th grade students must have their vaccine to be enrolled. The protection from some early childhood vaccines can wear off. Review your child’s immunization records with a health care provider to make sure all vaccines recommended for adolescents are up-to-date. Florida immunization requirements are found in the Immunization Guidelines for Florida Schools, Childcare Facilities, and Family Daycare Homes, which is incorporated by reference in Rule 64D-3.046, Florida Administrative Code.
